About Our Teams
Bowie County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue Team was founded in 2006 under the direction of Sheriff James Prince. Our team consists of law enforcement and correctional officers, medical professionals, technology consultants, engineers, and other volunteers adding their wealth of knowledge to the capabilities of their equine or K9 partners.
Our volunteers receive no reimbursement for their time, travel, and other expenses, and must purchase their own equipment. We welcome all donations of time, money, and equipment. One hundred percent of donations goes towards supporting our search and rescue activities in the communities.
